Harder is one of a group of big named poker pros to call Maryland home. Christian has over $2,900,000 in career tournament earnings, including his most recent score during the Aria/Party Poker WPT500 ($565 No Limit Hold'em). Harder bested a field of 3,599 players to finish in fourth place for $90,000. He also added five more WSOP cashes during this years series, all in no limit hold'em events.

The rules announcement has been made for players already seated, and the cards are now in the air for Day 1B of Event 14. The field has already surpassed that of yesterday, and with the trend of later arrivals always present, the number should continue to grow. A lot of players have asked about yesterday's early finish and how that relates to today's play. In order to make sure that both starting flights have an even playing field (in lines of structure), today's play will end at the conclusion of Level 11.
As the field continues to grow and new players get settled in their seats, an update of the notables in the field will be posted shortly.

Event 14 (Day 1B): Second Flight Begins Shortly
Today is the final opportunity for players to bag chips and continue on to Day 2 of Event 14 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em - $75,000 Guarantee). The field yesterday was an intimate one, with play being paused with (10) players left (from 35 total entries). Drake Bronk, recent winner of the MSPT Mid-Season Championship bagged the chip lead with 222,200, while James Bucci sealed up 168,500.
The field looks to be sizably bigger today, with the buzz that has been seen on Twitter. Many of the notable Maryland players are now back from the WSOP, and it will be interesting to see who shows up for Day 1B action. The cards will be in the air at 12:15pm, and live coverage of the event will pick up at exactly that time.
