Total Day 1B Entries: 70
The action at Table 40 was picked up pre-flop when a supervisor was called to the table. Vineet Bhargava opened the pot to 300, and was called by Venkata Emani in middle position. John Creed would three-bet to 1,100 with the action on him, and Bhargava called behind. Emani would then throw out two 1,000 chips, which was construed as a raise by Creed. Although Venkata's intention was to make the call, the tournament floor determined that to be a min-raise, and Creed would five-bet shove in turn. Vineet would fold and Venkata (who had 2,100 behind) would make the call:
Creed: 10♠ 10♣ Emani: A♣ 2♣
Runout: 10♥ 4♠ 5♣ 3♠ 8♣
Emani would stand up when the hands were tabled, but he would turn the wheel and only have to fade the board pairing on the river to win the hand. He would do just that, and Venkata chips back up to 12,000 with that pot.
