Event 14 (Day 2): Castaldo Picks Up Needed Chips

Level 15 (Blinds 1,200/2,400/300)
Players Remaining: 17
Chip Average: 148,000

Mark Castaldo started the hand with one of the shortest stacks in the field, sitting with just under 50,000.  He would open the pot UTG to 5,000 and get called in four spots (Peters, Chinni, Sloat, and Eguren).  They five players would see the dealer fan out a flop of 10 9 6, and after the blinds checked, Castaldo put out a bet of 15,000.  The action would all fold behind and Mark would pick up a well needed pot, chipping up to 80,000 with the win.

Two more players have been eliminated from Day 2 play (Ray Shackelford and Matthew Brunskole), leaving the field only four bust outs from the money.
