The field now has its first players to eclipse the 100,000 mark, and it's none other than Charles Welch. Welch is the only player to bag more than one bonus in Live! Poker Room tournament history, and he's put himself in contention to grab a third.
Welch scored a double elimination right before break, when he flopped a set of sevens on a board of A♣ K♠ 7♣ J♥ A♦ against Ax Kx again K♣ 5♣. The chips all got in on the turn, and after winning the hand he would be up to 90,000. Since returning from break he has continued to apply pressure to the rest of the table, and now sits with 110,000.
