Andrew Franklin

Andrew Franklin was only a few spots away from making the money in Event 14 ($1,100 No Limit Hold'em) last night, but watched as the cruel side of this game reared its' head.  Franklin had Brian Woods all-in and at risk for a pot worth 160,000, over (80) big blinds at the time.

Franklin held KQ on a board of Q x x K against the AK of Woods, but watched in disappointment as an ace hit the river.  Andrew would be left with just (4) blinds after the hand and would be eliminated short of the money.

Franklin spoke about the hand moments ago, clearly still fresh on his mind.  The great part about this game is the fact that he now gets a chance to put that behind him and start new.  Andrew is seated at Table 32 to start the day, and currently hovers right around the starting stack.
