Event 1 (Day 2): "In" It To Win It

Level 21 (Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 560
Players Remaining: 36
Chip Average: 235,000

In Min would open the pot from the button to 22,000, and after a fold from the small blind, Gary Schoengold would push for a total of 65,000.  Min would think for a few moments while shuffling his chips, but would stack the amount for a call and push it across his cards.  The two hands would be tabled and it would be the A♠ J of Schoengold versus the A♣ 8♣ of Min.

The flop of 2♠ K 6♣ would seem fairly safe for Gary, but the table would start chirping when the 7♣ came on the turn.  The dealer would expose the 4♣ on the river, and Min would go runner-runner flush, coming from behind and sending home Gary just short of the pay jump.  Schoengold will collect $635 for his 37th place finish, with the next eight players to be eliminated receiving $776.

In Min - 340,000
Gary Schoengold - 37th Place ($635)
