Event 15 (Day 2): 10th Place - Caesar ($2,647)

Level 26 (Blinds 15,000/30,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 9

Vincent Caesar (Glen Mills, PA)
Vincent Caesar's final hand would only be a formality, the critical hand coming two hands into the final table (AK < 99).  Vince couldn't win the race against Michael Dorsch and was immediately left two big blinds.

Of Caesar's three recorded lifetime scores, this is going to be his largest.  Caesar did go deep in the opening event of the 2010 Borgata Spring Poker Open, but his 30th place finish only paid $1,021.

Event 15 (Day 2): Event 15 Final Table

Level 26 (Blinds 15,000/30,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 10

Here is the lineup for the Event 15 final table:

  1. Viet Le - 1,400,000
  2. Michael Dorsch - 700,000
  3. Vincent Caesar - 75,000
  4. Andrew Powderly - 650,000
  5. William Beer - 1,100,000
  6. David Tran - 330,000
  7. Sean Byars - 430,000
  8. Scott Calcagno - 300,000
  9. Tam Nguyen - 315,000
  10. Jefferey Chang - 2,800,000
*** Vincent Caesar lost A♠ K♣ < 9♠ 9 to Michael Dorsch on the second hand at the final table.  Caesar came into the final table with 400,000.

Event 15 (Day 2): 11th Place - Weslow ($2,647)

Level 26 (Blinds 15,000/30,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 10

Tim Weslow would open the action from the button, with William Beer coming along from the big blind.  The dealer would fan out the flop of 2 6 5, and Beer would check-raise Weslow enough to put him at risk.  Weslow would make the call and the hands would be tabled:

Weslow: K♠ K
Beer: 2 5

Flop: 2♠ 6♠ 5♣
Turn: 2
River: J♠

Once the cards were tabled, Tim would see the unfortunate news that he was behind.  Weslow could still take the lead if the board paired with a six, or if he could hit one of the two kings remaining.  The turn would bring Beer a full house though, and Tim would miss on the river to bubble the final table.  The new seating assignments will be posted shortly.

Event 15 (Day 2): Level Up/Tam Doubles

Level 26 (Blinds 15,000/30,000/5,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 11

Level 26 started just moments ago, with the blinds going up to 15,000/30,000/5,000 (740,000 chip average).  The field was a river card away from the final table, as Tam Nguyen was all-in (pre) and at risk against Scott Calcagno.  Nguyen held A♣ Q♠ against Scott's 6♠ 6 with Tam hitting a queen on the river to double up to 580,000.

Event 15 (Day 2): 12th Place - Kappatos ($2,647)

Level 25 (Blinds 12,000/24,000/3,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 11

Demetrios Kappatos (Sterling, VA)
Demetrios Kappatos was the shortest stack of the players remaining, sitting with just under ten big blinds.  He could not find the magic needed to double up, getting eliminated just moments ago.

This is Demetrios's second ever recorded cash, with his first coming in 2007 during the Executive Poker Tour.  The event was a $2,200 No Limit Hold'em event won by well known poker pro Lee Childs.  Kappatos will add this $2,647 to the $12,100 he won in the prior event.

The next player eliminated will earn the "final table bubble" title, and the field will have the last redraw of the tournament.

Event 15 (Day 2): 13th Place - Campbell ($2,072)

Level 25 (Blinds 12,000/24,000/3,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 12

John Campbell (Hummelstown, PA)
John Campbell (Hummelstown, PA) would shove his remaining 225,000 UTG, with action folding around to Tim Weslow on the button.  Weslow would throw in 60,000, thinking that he was raising the pot (he never heard/saw Campbell's all-in).  The table would get a ruling, but Weslow's toss of multiple chips without verbalization was deemed a call.  The two hands were then tabled:

Campbell: A♣ K♠
Weslow: J 10

Flop: K Q♣ 9
Turn: 4♠
River: K♣

Weslow's mistake turned into Campbell's worst nightmare, as Tim flops the joint and has John drawing dead on the turn.  Weslow on the other hand could only sit there in shock, apologizing for the beat he just put on Campbell.

Event 15 (Day 2): 14th Place - Repole ($2,072)

Level 25 (Blinds 12,000/24,000/3,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 13

Ravi Repole (College Park, MD)
After an open from Vincent Caesar, Ravi Repole would push in his ten big blind stack.  Caesar would quickly make the call and the hands would be tabled:

Repole: K J♣
Caesar: A♣ K♣

Runout: 10♣ 2♣ 6♠ 9 2

Although all of Ravi's outs that could be clubs were taken away, he did gain a few more outs to a straight on the turn.  Repole would end up bricking the river, but would earn his largest career cash to date.

Event 15 (Day 2): Break Time/Updated Chip Counts

Players are currently on a (15) minute break, and will be posting blinds of 12,000/24,000/3,000 when they return for Level 25.  Here are the updated chip counts from break:

Table 38:

  1. Tam Nguyen - 270,000
  2. Vincent Caesar - 650,000
  3. Jefferey Chang - 2,200,000
  4. Ravi Repole - 185,000
  5. Andrew Powderly - 270,000
  6. Demetrios Kappatos - 260,000
  7. Scott Calcagno - 730,000
Table 39:
  1. Viet Le - 1,000,000
  2. David Tran - 500,000
  3. Tim Weslow - 370,000
  4. Sean Byars - 430,000
  5. William Beer - 690,000
  6. John Campbell - 260,000
  7. Michael Dorsch - 170,000

Event 15 (Day 2): 15th Place - Kopp ($2,072)

Level 24 (Blinds 10,000/20,000/3,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 14

William Kopp (Brecksville, OH)
William Kopp would just be sent home in what will go down as the pot of the tournament.  The action would be picked up on the flop of  6♣ 4 3♣.  Jefferey Chang would bet out 125,000 from the small blind, with action on William Kopp.  Kopp would raise to 275,000, with Chang checking his cards and ask Kopp what he started the hand with (Kopp started the hand with just under 1,000,000).  Chang would stand up and stare down the chips, before announcing himself all-in.  When William made the call, half the table stood up for this pot now worth 2,000,000:

Kopp: 5 7♠ (flopped nut straight)
Chang: 5♣ 7♣ (flopped nut straight w/ club draw)

Turn: K♣
River: 3

The two would have the same hand, with Chang on the ultimate free roll.  Jefferey would get there on the turn, leaving William to just stand and look down at the board.  Kopp took the loss as well as he could, agreeing with Chang when Jefferey looked over and said, "It's just a cooler spot."  William was second in chips at the time this hand took place, so Chang assumes what is now a massive chip lead (with over 2,000,000).

Event 15 (Day 2): 16th Place - Robinson ($1,726)

Level 24 (Blinds 10,000/20,000/3,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 15

Cory Robinson (Memphis, TN)
After an open by Viet Le from the hijack, Cory Robinson would shove the big blind for 250,000.  Le would immediately announce a call and turn over his hand:

Le: A A♠
Robinson: A J♣

Runout: A♣ 7♠ K 9 K♣

Viet would having Robinson drawing to running straight cards after the flop, and drawing dead after the turn.  Robinson wishes the rest of the table good luck and goes to collect his $1,726.

Event 15 (Day 2): Blinds Growing

Level 24 (Blinds 10,000/20,000/3,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 16

Level 24 just starting moments ago, with the players posting blinds of 10,000/20,000/3,000.  The chip average of 500,000 has now dropped to (25) big blinds, with a handful of players remaining that are below that number.  Players will be going on a (15) minute break at the end of this level, with updated chip counts posted once they leave the tables.

Event 15 (Day 2): 17th Place - Kang ($1,726)

Level 23 (Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 16

Steven Kang (Laurel, MD)
Steven Kang (Laurel, MD) would get his second cash of the series after he was just eliminated by William Kopp.  Kang's A Q could find any help against Kopp's 10 10, and Kang would be left to collect his $1,726.

Kang cashes in the opening event of the series ($300 No Limit Hold'em), finishing 14th for $1,270.  With that pot, Kopp is just over 1,000,000, the first player to reach that mark in the field.

Event 15 (Day 2): Tran Gets The Double

Level 23 (Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 17

After an open from John Campbell to 36,000, action would fold to David Tran.  Tran would three-bet all-in for 187,000, with the players folding back to Campbell.  John would ask for a count and make the call once he got the official number:

Tran: J♠ J♣      Campbell: A K

Flop: 6 2♣ 2

Turn: 8♠

River: 8

"It's a race," said Chan as the dealer pulled the cards toward the middle.  Although John wouldn't flop a pair, he gained many outs to a flush.  The turn and river would be a sweat for Tran, but he would win the hand and double to 400,000 (just short of average).

Event 15 (Day 2): 18th Place - Campbell ($1,726)

Level 23 (Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 17

Kenneth Taffaro (Mooresville, NC)
Kenneth Taffaro (Mooresville, NC) was one of the shorter stack at Table 39, and he would push his remaining chips in from middle position.  The action would fold around to John Campbell in the blind, and he would make the call:

Taffaro: A♠ 9♠
Campbell: A 10

Flop: J♠ 2♠ 7
Turn: 6♥
River: 7♣

Taffaro would be well behind going in, but he would get a big flop for his hand.  Kenneth was not able to find any spades or a nine to make a pair, and he would be the first to leave the field since the redraw.  With that pot, Campbell would chip up to 820,000, one of the larger stacks remaining.

Event 15 (Day 2): 19th-27th Places ($1,496)

Level 23 (Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 543

Event 15 (Day 2): Down To Eighteen

Level 22 (Blinds 6,000/12,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 18

Matthew Brunskole (Ontario, CA) shoved in pre with a below average stack at Table 39, with Vincent Caesar re-shoving behind (with a stack over 600,000).  The two hands were turned over and Brunskole was in tough shape as his J♣ J♠ was no match for Caesar's A♣ A♠.  Vincent would flop a set and have Matthew drawing dead, bringing the field to the second redraw of the day.  The new table assignment will be posted in a few moments.

Event 15 (Day 2): Last Lady Exits

Level 22 (Blinds 6,000/12,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 19

Sudha Baxter (Washington D.C.) did all she could this afternoon with a below average stack.  She went to dinner as the shortest stack of the remaining field, sitting down to less than (10) big blinds in Level 22.  Her deep would end just moments ago as she was handed her finishing ticket for 20th place ($1,496), just two spots short of a pay jump.  As mentioned earlier, this is the first event Sudha has cashed in (recorded) that wasn't a "Ladies Event."  After the next elimination, there will be another redraw, with the new seating assignments posted shortly afterwards.

Event 15 (Day 2): Back From Dinner

Level 22 (Blinds 6,000/12,000/2,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 21

Players are back from dinner and the cards are once again in the air.  It didn't take long for the field to lose its first player, as James Bushmire (Greer, SC) was seen leaving the tournament area towards the podium.  This was Bushmire's second cash of the series, finishing in 13th ($383) in Event 11 ($230 No Limit Hold'em).  With that elimination, William Kopp was moved from the two seat at Table 39, to the nine seat at Table 51.

Level 21 (Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 27

With the elimination of Charles Welch in 28th place, the field is now shuffling to find their new assigned seats from redraw.  The new table lineup will be posted momentarily, but first Welch's bustout Tweet:

Event 15 (Day 2): Closer To The Redraw

Level 21 (Blinds 5,000/10,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 28

Just as the action was posted as slowing down, the field saw a handful of eliminations.  With the eliminations of Ryan Sentz by William Kopp (Ax 8x < Ax Jx) and Theodore Hickman by Vincent Caesar (108 < K♣ K♠), the field is one bustout away from redrawing.  With the start of Level 21 just moments ago, the chip average is below (30) bigs for the first time today (290,000).

Event 15 (Day 2): Updated Chip Counts

Level 20 (Blinds 4,000/8,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 32

Play has slowed down slightly, as only a handful of players have been eliminated since returning from break.  Those remaining after the conclusion of Level 21 will be going on a (45) minute dinner break, and will then return to finish out the event.  Here are some updated counts from the field:

Viet Le - 770,000
Michael Dorsch - 650,000
William Kopp - 560,000
Vincent Caesar - 440,000
Tam Nguyen - 440,000

Event 15 (Day 2): Last Lady Standing/Level Up

Level 20 (Blinds 4,000/8,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 33

Sudha Baxter (Washington D.C.)
The level has just transitioned, and players are now posting blinds of 4,000/8,000/1,000.  The chip average of 246,000 is just over (30) big blinds at the moment.

Sudha Baxter (Washington D.C.) may be shorter than average at the moment, but she is the last lady remaining in the field.  Baxter has two lifetime recorded cashes worth $5,435, both coming in Ladies Events at Borgata.  This is officially her first recorded cash in standard no limit hold'em event.

When the field gets down to (27) players, there will be a full redraw, with the new seating assignments posted shortly thereafter.

Level 19 (Blinds 3,000/6,000/1,000)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 35

Michael Dorsch
Walking over to Table 51, Marc Gordon would have a bet of 70,000 in front of him on a board of A 4 5 8♠.  The action would be on Michael Dorsch, who would announce himself all-in and dump in a pile of chips (having Gordon covered).  Marc would look back at the clock before turning back around and saying, "Ok...I'll see it."  Gordon would push his chips across his cards, and the hands would be tabled:

Dorsch: J 10
Gordon: A 8

Board: A 4 5 8♠

River: 6♣

Gordon would not be able to fill up on the river, and he would be eliminated in 37th place, just short of the pay jump.  Dorsch would become one of the leaders in the field with that pot, chipping up to 505,000.

Event 15 (Day 2): 46th-54th Places ($921)

Players are now heading on their second (15) minute break of the day, and they will be posting blinds of 3,000/6,000/1,000 when they return (Level 19).  Day 1C chip leader Joshua Mischel was just eliminated by William Kopp, as Kopp made a four flush on the river to best Joshua's rivered straight. Here are some updated counts as players step away from the table:

Viet Le - 550,000
Jeffery Chang - 420,000
Tam Nguyen - 415,000
William Kopp - 410,000
Charles Welch - 340,000
Vincent Caesar - 325,000
Cory Robinson - 310,000

Event 15 (Day 2): The Flurries Taper Off

Level 18 (Blinds 2,500/5,000/500)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 47

The quick flurry of players eliminated post bubble has looked to have slowed down, with now (16) minutes remaining in the level.  Once two more players head to the tournament podium to collect their cash (and the pay jump is reached), the first wave of cashes will be posted.  Updated chip counts will also be posted once players head to break.  Two notable players to bust just short of hand for hand play are Sean Wallace and Justin Liberto, both still looking for their first recorded cash here at the Live! Poker Room.

Event 15 (Day 2): Welch Bursts The Bubble

Level 17 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/500)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 53

Dinio Talking To Welch Post Bustout
The first hand for hand elimination came at Table 50 when Bradley Paleg lost a race to Matthew Brunkskole holding A♠ Q♠ < 10 10♠.  The board would runout 2♣ 4♣ 2 6 8 and Bradley would walk away two short of the money.

The very next hand at Table 39, A.Nonymous would shove UTG for 62,500, with action folding around to Charles Welch.  Welch would re-shove (having the table covered), which got everyone's attention.  Arnold Dinio would be next to act and he would also shove his remaining chips in.  Action would fold around and the table would have a three-way all-in, with Welch having both players at risk:

Welch: J♠ J       Dinio: K K♣       A. Nonymous: Q♣ Q

Runout: 10♠ 4♠ 9 3♠ 8♠

Welch would hold the only spade, as he pushed it towards the board.  Dinio would stand for a moment in shock, before the supervisor informed him that he would split 54th place money with A. Nonymous (since two people busted the same hand on the bubble). Play has resumed with the clock running, with everyone left receiving their respective share of the prize fund.

Event 15 (Day 2): Hand For Hand Begins

Level 17 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/500)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 56

At Table 49, Andrew Rudnik would shove in his 11 big blinds stack from middle position, with Cory Robinson making the call from the button:

Rudnik: A 8       Robinson: A♠ K♣

Flop: 6♣ 7 6

Turn: K

River: Q♠

Rudnik would be in bad shape going in, and even though Robinson would hit a king on the turn, it would actually give Andrew more outs.  The queen on the river was not a heart though, and with Rudnik's elimination, the rest of the field will begin hand for hand play.

Event 15 (Day 2): Money Bubble Approaching

Level 17 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/500)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 57

The field is now thee eliminations from the money, which means that players will be hand-for-hand very shortly.  During hand-for-hand play the clock will be paused and each table will play one hand.  For each of those hands played, the tournament supervisors will note two minutes off the clock (to be removed once the money bubble bursts).

Event 15 (Day 2): Viet's Heater Breaks Table

Level 17 (Blinds 2,000/4,000/500)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 63

Viet Le busts yet another short stack, and with that Table 36 breaks, sending the players to different tables across the room.  With the most recent pot, Le becomes the first person in the field above 400,000 (435,000).  The remaining players are now less than ten eliminations from the money, with a list of those still in to be posted shortly.

Event 15 (Day 2): Top Five Stacks

Level 16 (Blinds 1,500/3,000/500)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 70

Another table has just broken in the outer tournament area, meaning there are exactly (70) players remaining at the moment.  There are 54 places getting paid in this event, so the field is getting close to the money bubble.  There are many notables still active in the field, including Kyle Bowker, Justin Liberto, Sean Wallace, Arnold Dinio, William Beer, Daniel Chan, and Michael Dorsch.  Here are the top five stacks from moments ago:

Reymundo Reyes - 390,000
Viet Le - 375,000
Marc Gendleman - 345,000
Charles Welch - 290,000
Steven Kang - 270,000

Event 15 (Day 2): McLaughlin Gets To Average

Level 16 (Blinds 1,500/3,000/500)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 79

Robert McLaughlin (Fort Lauderdale, FL) came into Day 2 with 33,000, and has grinded a below average stack for most of this tournament.  Robert just got a well needed double through Josef Teshome (all-in pre):

McLaughlin: A Q          Teshome: Q♠ Q♣

Flop: 9 5 7♣

Turn: 2

River: J♠

After including the blinds and antes into his double, Robert is now over 100,000 for the first time in this event.

Event 15 (Day 2): First Break Of The Day

The (85) players remaining at the end of Level 15 are now going on a (15) minute break.  When they return to Level 16, they will be posting blinds of 1,500/3,000/500 (100,000 chip average).  Players who are sitting with an average stack have just over 30 big blinds, so there is lots of deep play at the moment.

A few more notables to bust during Level 15 include:

Jim Bucci
Aaron Wright
Matteo Menna

Event 15 (Day 2): Huge Pot...Awkward Spot

Level 15 (Blinds 1,200/2,400/300)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 88

Reymundo Reyes
The would be a huge pot brewing at Table 36, as three players were on a flop of 2 Q J.  Reymundo Reyes had started the action with a bet of 9,600, with Geoffrey Desobry raising to 30,000 next to act.  Joshua Gordon would be the third player in the hand, and he would four-bet all-in (having both players covered).  Reyes would go into the tank for over four minutes, before finally making his decision and announcing a call.  He stood up and said, "I got a flush man," but action would still be back on Desobry.

So Geoff was left to decide his course of action, now knowing one of the hands he was up against.  Desobry had about 70,000 behind and would be at risk if he made the call.  Geoff eventually threw a chip in for a call and the three would be playing for a pot worth 280,000.  Reyes would turn over 6 7 (flush), Desobry A K♣ (nut flush draw), and Gordon 2♠ 2♣ (bottom set).

The turn and river would run out with the 5♣ and 9♣ respectively, and Reyes would scoop up the pot.  Geoffrey would be eliminated from the field, while Gordon would be left with just over 20,000.

Event 15 (Day 2): Caeser Leaps Up Leaderboard

Level 15 (Blinds 1,200/2,400/300)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 92

Vincent Caeser
Approaching Table 52, the dealer would be cutting out Vincent Caeser's stack for Aaron Wright to have to send Caeser's way.  The board was still on the felt, as well as both hands:

Caeser: A Q♠
Wright: J♣ 10

Board: 8♣ Q 4 6 Q♣

The exact action from the hand has not be verified, but from the talk at the table things seemed pretty clear.  Wright had been the aggressor throughout the hand on each street, and shoved the river.  Wright said to Vincent after the hand that he thought his river bet would get Caeser to fold a weak queen, or any hand not holding a queen.

Vincent Caeser - 225,000
Aaron Wright - 60,000

Event 15 (Day 2): Level Up/Updated Chip Counts

Level 15 (Blinds 1,200/2,400/300)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 99

Play has been fast (as expected), but with the chip average almost 35 big blinds, things should slow down slightly before reaching the money bubble.  Some eliminations of note occurring towards the end of Level 14 include Matthew Flynn and Doug Marinovich.  Here are some updated counts from the field:

William Beer - 280,000
Viet Le - 265,000
Steven Kang - 210,000
Marc Gendleman - 170,000
Charles Welch - 145,000
Jeromy Bittan - 145,000
Kunal Shah - 140,000
Daniel Chan - 120,000

Event 15 (Day 2): Chin Continues To "Nguyen"

Level 14 (Blinds 1,000/2,000/300)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 108

Chin Nguyen
"Don't you wish this was a bounty tournament," Douglas Swirsky stated to Chin Nguyen after he scores his third bustout of the day. First is was Corey Kennel, and now Francis Mohan falls to Nguyen, as the two players got it in pre-flop:

Nguyen: Q♠ Q♣
Mohan: 10♠ 10♣

Runout: K 2 3♠ J A♣

Chin is now up to 105,000 from his Day 2 starting stack of 51,800.

Other players to bust out since the last update include Tim Bishop and August Smrek.

Event 15 (Day 2): Level Up/Catching Up

Level 14 (Blinds 1,000/2,000/300)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 115

The action continues to be fast and furious, as Marc Gendleman sends home another two players.  The chips were all pushed towards the middle pre, with Gendleman having both Awaise Dar and Taylor Honkofsky covered:

Gendleman: A K♣        Honkofsky: 10♠ 10       Dar: 10 10♣

Runout: 5 4♣ 6 K 6♣

Both players were able to fade the flop, but once the king hit the turn, Marc would have both of his opponents drawing dead.  Gendleman is now up to 110,000 from his Day 2 starting stack of 62,500.

The field would also lose Corey Kennel, who was one of three players to chop up Event 1 of this series.  Kennel would get his remaining chips in on the flop of 6♣ 4♣ K holding K♣ 7♣ against the K♠ J of Chin Nguyen.  Kennel would gain some chop outs after the K on the turn, but the river would brick Corey and he would be eliminated.

Other eliminations include:

Adam Steinback
Ninaz Taghva

Event 15 (Day 2): Chan Chipping Up

Level 13 (Blinds 800/1,600/200)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 121

Daniel Chan (New York, NY)
Daniel Chan (New York, NY) has almost tripled his Day 2 starting stack (51,600) in the first level of the day.  Chan just eliminated both Samuel Nasat (Ax 3x) and Chad Power (Ax 6x), as his Ax Jx had a strong lead against both pre-flop and continued through the runout. Daniel is now up to 140,000 and close to pushing the 100 big blind mark.

Chan had said that he and Power began the day involved in a handful of pots leading up to Power's bustout hand.  Another early elimination to note is Maxwell Young from Table 36.

Event 15 (Day 2): Rivkin Storms Off/First Flurry Of Bustouts

Level 13 (Blinds 800/1,600/200)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 126

Eric Rivkin could be heard at Table 36 as he stood up, "Are you kidding me?!?"  He was holding his Ax Qx face up on a board of Qx Jx 5x 4x, with Viet Le showing 4x 4x (players all-in on the turn).  Rivkin was clearly upset with the fact that Le continued the hand after a three-bet pre from Eric and flop bet.  Eric would be drawing dead after the turn, and would walk away from the tabled not pleased.

Here are some of the names from the first flurry of bustouts to begin the day:

Dawn Sadler
Shawn Smith
Jeff Fink
James Marshall
Stephen Sindler
Bryan Roche
James Peters
Ryan McKnight
Eric Rivkin

Event 15 (Day 2): McKnight First To Go

Level 13 (Blinds 800/1,600/200)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 134

The echoes of dealers announcing "all-in" could be heard immediately on the first hand of the day, and continued for the first few minutes.  The first to lose one of those all-ins was Ryan McKnight (Harrisburg, PA).  McKnight started the day with 33,000 (20 big blinds), but couldn't win a race against Jeromy Bittan all-in pre, as Ryan's 6♠ 6♣ < A Q♠ of Bittan.  Following McKnight's bustout, a handful of players were seen walking away from different tables.  Any of the eliminations that can be reported throughout the day will be noted, because the fans at home always want to know how their sweats are doing.

Event 15 (Day 2): Day 2 Underway!!!

Level 13 (Blinds 800/1,600/200)
Total Entries: 543

Tournament supervisor has just went over the rules with all of the players seated at their tables, and the cards are now in the air.  A schedule update to note involves this evening's dinner break, which will take place at approximately 6:45pm.
