Event 15 (Day 2): Huge Pot...Awkward Spot

Level 15 (Blinds 1,200/2,400/300)
Total Entries: 543
Players Remaining: 88

Reymundo Reyes
The would be a huge pot brewing at Table 36, as three players were on a flop of 2 Q J.  Reymundo Reyes had started the action with a bet of 9,600, with Geoffrey Desobry raising to 30,000 next to act.  Joshua Gordon would be the third player in the hand, and he would four-bet all-in (having both players covered).  Reyes would go into the tank for over four minutes, before finally making his decision and announcing a call.  He stood up and said, "I got a flush man," but action would still be back on Desobry.

So Geoff was left to decide his course of action, now knowing one of the hands he was up against.  Desobry had about 70,000 behind and would be at risk if he made the call.  Geoff eventually threw a chip in for a call and the three would be playing for a pot worth 280,000.  Reyes would turn over 6 7 (flush), Desobry A K♣ (nut flush draw), and Gordon 2♠ 2♣ (bottom set).

The turn and river would run out with the 5♣ and 9♣ respectively, and Reyes would scoop up the pot.  Geoffrey would be eliminated from the field, while Gordon would be left with just over 20,000.
