Level 14 (Blinds 1,000/2,000/300)
Total Day 1C Entries: 252
Day 1C Players Remaining: 60
It looks as if Table 29 has been the source for a lot of action since dinner, and Charles Welch has been involved more often that not. Welch opened the pot for a 4,000 raise and got called by Gregory Paryani and August Smrek (from the big blind). The dealer would fan a flop of 5♣ 2♣ 4♦, with both Smrek and Welch checking to Paryani. Gregory would put out a bet of 9,000 and both players would make the call. The action would be checked again to Paryani after the 9♦ on the turn, and this time he would bet 17,000. Smrek would fold after little thought, and Welch would collect the chips and throw in a call. The 3♣ would be tabled on the river, and the action would go check-check, with Welch quickly tabling 3♠ 3♦ (flopped open-end, rivered straight). The hand would be good enough for the win as Paryani mucked his hand, and Welch would chip up to 130,000.
Charles Welch - 130,000
Gregory Paryani - 80,000
