Event 1 (Day 1C): Building Up And Buying In

Level 6 (Blinds 150/300/25)
Total Day 1C Entries: 228

Alexander Rumbaugh
Level 6 has just started, meaning there are only (30) minutes remaining in registration.  The shorter stacks are picking spots to try and chip up, or get back in...while the big stacks try to exploit those moves.

Approaching Table 32, there would be a hand on the flop between Alexander Rumbaugh and Cameron Shahab.  The dealer already had fanned out a flop of 8 J♠ 7♠, and Shahab had gone all-in for 16,000 after Alex checked.  Rumbaugh asked for a count, and seemed really torn with his decision.  He would eventually announce a call, and the hands would be tabled:

Rumbaugh: 10♠ 8♠         Shahab: J 7

Turn: 7♠

River: 4

Although Rumbaugh was behind when the chips got in, things would change quickly as he spiked a flush on the turn.  Alex would still need to hold, as Cameron made two pair on the turn, but couldn't fill up on the river.   Rumbaugh would chip up to 40,000 with the pot, while Cameron waited for a re-entry ticket before leaving the table.
