Level 7 (Blinds 200/400/50)
Total Day 1B Entries: 150
Registration is now closed for the day, with the official number for the field of 150. That would bring the two day total to 308, with one more starting flight tomorrow. The number of players in order to reach the guarantee is 455, so those players thinking overlay can search elsewhere.
As the outer tournament tables break, some new lineups form across the room. Those players at Table 29 can begin to settle in, because unless someone busts from the table (or gets moved to even out other tables), it's a table that will not break at any point today. A keen eye will be kept in that direction as two of the biggest stacks in the field are housed there. Charles Balint has just joined the action with his 60,000 stack, and Brian Woods (Lutherville, MD) has been there all day (sitting with 75,000). Woods is not tournament rookie, with over $172,000 in career tournament earnings. Brian already has a win under his best this summer, taking down a $500 NLH event during Venetian's DeepStack Extravaganza in May. Brian would collect over $24,000 for the win, which likely came in handy as the WSOP started only days later.
