After the elimination of Arnold Dinio, the three remaining players began to discuss a chop. The ICM calculator was broken out, and the numbers were then agreed upon by the trio. Live! Poker Room tournament regular Arnold Dinio definitely had the biggest rail at this final table, as handfuls of people were stopping and wishing him good luck. After Wesley Wyvill opened the pot from the button, Joshua Gordon would continue applying pressure and shove all-in. Arnold Dinio began to think about his hand, and after taking a few moments threw in a handful of chips, signifying a call:

Corey Kennel open shoved for 365,000 from middle position, and the action would fold to Rudy Tjin on the button. After asking for a count, Rudy would re-shove for 505,000, drawing some thought from Josh Gordon in the big blind. Gordon would eventually fold and it would be the A Q of Kennel against the Q Q of Tjin. The flop of A A 4 would leave Tjin drawing dead, and while Kennel would chip up to 760,000, Tjin would be left with two big blinds (100,000).

An Hwang

Everyone at Table 38 was standing, and it was clear something big was going on. There was a three-way all-in between An Hwang, Doug Marinovich, and Corey Kennel. Doug had both players covered, but he held the same hand as Kennel. Hwang was holding 10♣ 10♠ against the A K of both Marinovich and Kennel.

The table would be in a roar as the flop came out A♠ A♣ 3♦, leaving Hwang asking for a ten. It was not to be, and the two players would chop up the short stack of An Hwang. Giuseppe Serio would open the action under the gun to 55,000, and after two folds would be three-bet to 125,000 by Joshua Gordon. The action would fold to John Pritchett in the big blind who was just left crippled after a recent pot, and he would shove his 29,000 towards the middle. With the action back on Serio, he would make the call, leaving himself with only 40,000 behind.

The three players would go to the flop (with Pritchett all-in), with the dealer fanning out Q♠ K♠ 7♦. Serio would push his remaining chips in, and the hands would be tabled:

The words "all-in" could be heard coming from the mouth of Ronnie Talhame approaching Table 51. The action would be back on Joe Domyslawski to decide if he wanted to call the 140,000 more. Joe would make the call and immediately cringe when he saw Talhame turn over A♠ A♥. Joe would flip over his A♦ K♥, and the two would go to the flop.

The dealer would fan out the flop of 8♦ 10♥ Q♠, and the table immediately reacted, like they knew Joe was going to win the hand. There would be little waiting as the dealer would place the J♣ on the turn, leaving Talhame drawing to a chop, which he would brick on the river. Domyslawski continues his torrid run, and now sits with just over 1,700,000.

Daniel Sussman would open the pot under the gun to 35,000, and the action would then fold around to Charles Welch. Charles would put in a three bet to 77,000, and after the button and blinds folded, Sussman would throw in his remaining chips (just over 80,000). Welch would call the extra chips and the two hands would be turned over. It was a race as Welch held A♦ K♥ against the 5♣ 5♠ of Sussman, with another player at the table telling Welch he folded an ace. The flop would run out 6♣ 4♦ 9♥, and after the 8♠ on the turn, Welch would look to Sussman and say "Nice hand." Just as Welch could get the words out of his mouth the K♠ hit the river, sending Sussman home in 22nd place ($917).

Welch would chip up to 360,000 with that pot, but is still below the chip average of 400,000.
